Some of the information concerning real estate sales in Alabama is better. "Better" is a very relative term. Yes, sales are improving on a month to month basis, but they are still far below where they were even a year ago. Keep in mind if you are a Seller in this market, your ability to negotiate a premium price is extremely limited. If you are a purchaser, keep looking and counter each and every offer with as low a price as seems reasonable. This especially holds true for foreclosed property held by a bank. However, if you are in the market for a new home, the time is now as many builders are far more accommodating due to the absence of buyers in this market. Remember, we may have hit bottom, but it's still a long way up. Call me if you have any questions.
